When searching on the internet for real estate MLS Real Estate listings, it’s common to find properties marked as under contract or pending. While you may interpret pending to mean that the home is sold and off-market, that is not really the case. There is still Due Diligence, Earnest Money, contingencies, and other processes to get through before the home is officially off the market.
